Anomy

What is Anomy? The state of anomy is much the same as smelling some smoke and after which makes you confused and lost. The real definition of it is: "A state or condition of individuals or society characterized by a breakdown or absence of social norms and values." This concept has emerged in 1893 with French sociologist Ă‰mile Durkheim. According to him, some people might experience Anomy, especially there's a sudden change in their circumstances. One good example will be the Japanese soldiers after world war 2 where their economy started to pick up after they went back to their homeland after the war. Besides this example, another example could be for the modern world people; as the digital economy started to pick up and transform thousands and millions of lives, those who are not technology savvy might choose to give up learning new things and shows an emotion of apathy. A minority of those might experienced anger and frustration too. Below is a video of

What is IP address and how does it works?

There are a lot of myth about IP address and one of the greatest myth is that it is personal. But in actual fact, it is not personal as it is just only about your connection.

If you were to google "what is an IP address" you will get the definition of "a unique string of numbers separated by "." that identifies each computer using the Internet Protocol to communicate over a network".

Basically it probably is something that you seldom think about, however, it involves in our daily life as without it, you would not be able to watch videos online, get the latest weather update or check the most updated news. The reason is because, without your IP address, websites won't be able to know where to send the information that you are asking. Imagine you have a parcel from a friend, but he/she does not know your home address, then how does he/she knows where to send the parcel to?

You can go the website http://whatismyipaddress.com/ to find out your unique string of numbers, alternatively just google "what is my IP address"

You can also try to do it with your phone next time when you go to a shopping mall using a wireless network, you will find that the IP address will be different.
