Anomy

What is Anomy? The state of anomy is much the same as smelling some smoke and after which makes you confused and lost. The real definition of it is: "A state or condition of individuals or society characterized by a breakdown or absence of social norms and values." This concept has emerged in 1893 with French sociologist Ă‰mile Durkheim. According to him, some people might experience Anomy, especially there's a sudden change in their circumstances. One good example will be the Japanese soldiers after world war 2 where their economy started to pick up after they went back to their homeland after the war. Besides this example, another example could be for the modern world people; as the digital economy started to pick up and transform thousands and millions of lives, those who are not technology savvy might choose to give up learning new things and shows an emotion of apathy. A minority of those might experienced anger and frustration too. Below is a video of

App Creation

In the new year of 2017, everyone will sure have a new year resolution. I am no exception.
I promised myself to launched an ebook for 2016 and I did! For that, I am very happy (Well, sometimes due to certain reasons I was not able to meet my new year resolution)
So this year, I have another "bold" resolution, which is to create an App.

While I'm still brainstorming what types of App I'm going to create, I would like to share with you the statistics and ways to make money using App:
First of all, app is classified under 2 main categories
  1. Free App (you can download it for FREE which majority of the people do) - 99%
  2. Paid App (you are required to pay for it) - 1%
OK, now we all know that we can make money if people paid and download our App. So how do we make money if we want to create a FREE App? Well, it is further sub-categories into four main categories:
  1. Banner Ad (banner advertisements by advertisers, should only be used in FREE App)
  2. Full-Screen Ad (full-screen advertisements by advertisers, I'm sure you have seen one of those where you need to finish watching the ad before you proceed)
  3. Pay Per Install (This is a type of affiliate marketing program that pays publishers a commission when an app or software package that they are promoting sells.)
  4. In-App purchase (for example you downloaded a game App and in order to proceed to another game level you pay to gain extra moves etc to complete the game)
As you can see from the statistics that 99% of the App being created are FREE and only 1% are paid App, so if you want to get paid for users to download your App, you better have something which is very outstanding. Else choose a free app and find the strategies that suit you to monetize your App.
