Anomy

What is Anomy? The state of anomy is much the same as smelling some smoke and after which makes you confused and lost. The real definition of it is: "A state or condition of individuals or society characterized by a breakdown or absence of social norms and values." This concept has emerged in 1893 with French sociologist Ă‰mile Durkheim. According to him, some people might experience Anomy, especially there's a sudden change in their circumstances. One good example will be the Japanese soldiers after world war 2 where their economy started to pick up after they went back to their homeland after the war. Besides this example, another example could be for the modern world people; as the digital economy started to pick up and transform thousands and millions of lives, those who are not technology savvy might choose to give up learning new things and shows an emotion of apathy. Monetisation

Basically, there are two ways to monetize a blog; direct or indirect
Direct Methods
  1. Advertising (can be done through google Adsense or direct liaise with advertisers)
  2. Sponsorships (Sponsors will pay bloggers simply to have their message on your blog)
  3. Affiliate marketing (Get paid when someone purchases a product through your affiliate links)
  4. Paid reviews (you write about a product and people buy it because of an honest review)
Indirect Methods
  1. Books and ebooks (either own ebook or other authors' books)
  2. Membership sites and paid communities (only members get to access to private information)
  3. Running courses, classes, and workshops (some use it to invites audiences to their seminar)
  4. A service business (it can be helping others to set up a website, implement SEO etc)
  5. Consultancy or Coaching Opportunity (to provide consultancy or coaching services)
  6. Freelance Contracts (for example copywriting job task)
  7. Speaking engagements (being invited to speak at an event)
