Anomy

What is Anomy? The state of anomy is much the same as smelling some smoke and after which makes you confused and lost. The real definition of it is: "A state or condition of individuals or society characterized by a breakdown or absence of social norms and values." This concept has emerged in 1893 with French sociologist Ă‰mile Durkheim. According to him, some people might experience Anomy, especially there's a sudden change in their circumstances. One good example will be the Japanese soldiers after world war 2 where their economy started to pick up after they went back to their homeland after the war. Before You Start to Blog

What every blogger should know

What every blogger should know

Before start to blog, don't forget to do the 2 most important things so that it will be easy for others to access your blog once your keywords match with those who key into google search engine.

The 2 most important things are:
  1. Permalinks
  2. XML Sitemap
First of all, you need to set your permalinks to custom : "/%category%/%postname%/"
This can be done via going into your "Settings" -> "Permalinks" --> "Custom Structure". Basically a Permalink is a "permanent static hyperlink" to a particular web page / entry in a blog-post. Perhaps that's the reason why they are called "Permalinks" which means "Permanent Links".

Secondly you need to create a XML Sitemap. Personally I simply install Google XML Sitemap Generator in my WordPress. This can be achieved through clicking on "Plugins" --> "Add New" --> then under keyword search for "Google XML Sitemap Generator" and then click on "Install Now". After which click on "Activate" to use the plugin.
A Sitemap is an XML (Extensive Markup Language) file that jot down the URLs for a site. It allows the creator of the website to include additional information about each URL (Universal Resource Locator): when it was last updated, how frequent it changes, and how essential it is in relation to other URLs in the website. This allows search engines to crawl into the site smartly.
Done! You now have all you need to boost up your ranking in Google! Congratulation!
