Anomy

What is Anomy? The state of anomy is much the same as smelling some smoke and after which makes you confused and lost. The real definition of it is: "A state or condition of individuals or society characterized by a breakdown or absence of social norms and values." This concept has emerged in 1893 with French sociologist Ă‰mile Durkheim. According to him, some people might experience Anomy, especially there's a sudden change in their circumstances. Do you know which are the top 3 websites in the world?
Well, let me tell you. They are
  1. Google
  2. Youtube
  3. Facebook
And they have one thing in common. Guess what? They allowed people to interact with one another! Let's talk about Google first. Basically, Google is a search engine platform which allows people to search for information and on the other hand there are a bunch of people who are keen to publish those information others are seeking for. And why do people want to provide information? Simply because they are doing businesses, i.e providing services or selling products.
How about Youtube? Same thing goes for Youtube. There are people looking for entertainment, comedy, or any other types of videos, therefore there are also people publishing their video in term of monetizing their videos or reviewing a product for example (for affiliate marketer).
And lastly how about Facebook? Facebook allows people to post everything once they sign up an account with them. And most people are curious about what their friends, neighbors or celebrities are doing, therefore creating a balance between those who loves to post and those who has a mind full of curiosity.

These top 3 websites have one thing in common, they have created an ecosystem. A system with supply and demand self-sustain by itself.
Are your website or business self-sustain by itself? If not, what will you do next to create an auto-pilot system?
